Vice Gov. Wants PT. Jaktour to Optimize Asset Management

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno wants PT. Jakarta Tourisindo (Jaktour) to optimize more asset management thus company revenue can be increased.

"Cooperation with third party by using owned asset is possible to accelerate business growth," he said after PT. Jaktour Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS-LB) at City Hall, Thursday (12/21).

According to him, PT. Jaktour needs to improve performance of more than 600 employees to support company performance optimization.

PT. Jaktour Holds Special Events in Two Business Units

"I also asked company to manage its financial well and correctly. Once per three months, we will monitor company development," he mentioned.

Meanwhile, PT. Jaktour Director, Geraard Jeffrey Zacharias Rantung conveyed that in RUPS-LB, his side explained company financial condition this year and Company Work Plan and Budget (RKAP) 2018.

"Our target is to obtain Rp 140.8 billion revenue with net profit Rp 2.02 billion in 2018," he said.

He added, one of his business units which is contributed the most in revenue is Grand Cempaka Business Hotel and Grand Cempaka Resort and Convention.

"For sure, we accept vice governor's advice in order to optimize our asset management through cooperation with third party," he mentioned.
